birthday

It's my brothers birthday today but he'll always be 14 years old to me. He's quite similar to me and doesn't like making a big deal out of his birthday by having a party or meeting a bunch of people. Although I suggested doing a bunch of things with him today, he wanted to just relax at home and have nandos. He's not a big fan of birthday cakes, so I bought some snacks for him and his favourite donuts We never know the name of these donuts so we call them the simpsons donuts because, the colours kind of remind us of the simpsons for some reason and the donuts Homer used to eat as well.

I stuck candles on them and viola, a donut cake..kinda?. He's also not someone who is very expressive with emotions but I can somehow still always tell how he feels. I waited for him to wake up and stood outside the bathroom with my parents to sing happy birthday to him. Since he had just woken up, he was talking around the house brushing his teeth and preparing himself for the morning, so it was really funny singing happy birthday to him whilst we were following him around the house. He blew out the candles and we continued with our day. It's still currently only 4pm so we still have plenty of time to celebrate in someway, maybe watch the new avatar? I'm not too sure but, we'll see :)
